New central AC or replacement

• AC replacement: swap an old, inefficient or failing system for a new matched outdoor condenser and indoor coil.
• Adding central AC: if your home has a furnace and ducts, we can often add central air using the existing ductwork.
• New ductwork: if your home has no ducts, we can design and install them, or suggest a ductless mini split where that makes more sense.

FAQ

Can you install central AC in a house without ducts? Sometimes. It depends on attic, basement and closet space for new ducts. If ducts aren't practical, a ductless mini split system is usually the better choice. We'll show you both options.

Should I choose a central AC or a heat pump? A heat pump looks and installs like a central AC but also heats. If you want to reduce gas or oil use, ask us to quote both.

How long does installation take? Most replacements are completed quickly. Jobs with new ductwork take longer. We'll give you a timeline with your quote.

Do I need to replace my indoor coil too? For efficiency and reliability, the outdoor unit and indoor coil should be matched. We'll explain what your system needs.
